Support, Compassion, and Encouragement
The foundation of my supervision style is supportive, compassionate, and strengths based. We will work together to identify your strengths and areas for growth. Supervision is a collaborative process we will walk through together.
Why River Cross?
To Ford is a transitive verb : to cross a body of water by wading.
Jenni Ford is here to help you cross that river and to find your way on your journey.
“No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it is not the same river and he is not the same man.”
~Heraclitus
Are you struggling to feel like you are ‘enough’ as a therapist? Getting stuck in a cycle of self criticism or imposter syndrome your first few years out of graduate school? Taking the next steps in your career feel overwhelming?
First off you are not alone in this, you are totally enough just the way you are and we can all continue our growth. I would love to help support you in finding ways to connect with the truth that you are enough, challenging toxic perfectionism, and helping you feel better about yourself as a therapist.
I work as a clinical supervisor, mentor, and speaker to help therapists be kinder to themselves, have more clinical education and work on making the most out of what can be an amazing career.
I would love to be part of that first step with you. Contact me to set up a free 15 min call to see if I am the right fit for your needs.

As of July 1, 2024, an ATR-P is required to become an ATR.
ATR-P must show documentation of practicing art therapy under an approved supervisor(s). They must be engaged in supervisory relationship with a qualified supervisor(s).
I have 17 years of experience in the field of art therapy and hold an ATR-BC board certification in addition to training on ethical supervision and supervision frameworks.

Are you a therapist coming out of graduate school and struggling to adjust? Don’t worry I have been there.
There is so much that they did not cover in graduate school. Having a mentor therapist to support your progress is a helpful support.
Also mentorship is a wonderful support even if you have finished your clinical supervision hours and continue to want to grow as a therapist.

I provide 1×1 case consultation to other therapists if they are struggling with direction with a client or want more information to support their client.
